Working Principle:
1. Oil and water repellency
The material of the separation filter element has lipophilic and hydrophobic properties, which means it allows oil to pass through but blocks moisture. This characteristic allows the oil to pass through the filter element smoothly, while moisture is trapped outside the filter element, thereby achieving oil-water separation.
 
2. Aggregation and Separation
In the oil-water separation system, the oil first passes through the coalescence filter element, which aggregates tiny water droplets into larger ones. These water droplets settle into the collection tank under the action of gravity. Subsequently, the oil flows through the separation filter element to further remove residual moisture, ensuring that the final discharged oil is clean and free of water.
 
3. Physical interception and adsorption
The separation filter uses physical interception and adsorption mechanisms to trap solid particles and residual moisture in the oil on the surface or inside of the filter. This mechanism ensures the efficiency and stability of the separation effect.
 
4. Differential pressure monitoring and maintenance
As the usage time increases, the accumulation of impurities on the separation filter element will lead to an increase in pressure difference. When the pressure difference reaches a certain threshold (such as 0.15Mpa), it indicates that the filter element has been clogged and needs to be replaced to maintain the normal operation of the system.
 
5. Application scenarios
Separation filter cartridges are widely used in aviation kerosene filtration, industrial oil treatment, and other fields, especially in applications that require extremely high oil purity, such as aviation kerosene filtration separators and oil-water separators.
