Washing Method:
1. Carefully remove the filter element: first loosen the filter lock, remove the nut that fixes the filter element, remove the protective cover, and then pull out the filter element. Be careful to avoid impurities falling into the carburetor.
2. Wipe the filter housing: Use a cloth dipped in gasoline to wipe the inside and outside of the air filter housing.
3. Blow off the dust on the filter element: Starting from the inside of the filter element, blow off the dust on the inner and outer surfaces evenly along the diagonal direction. If there is no compressed air, gently tap the filter element with a screwdriver handle and then brush the dirt with a brush.
4. Check the condition of the filter element: Turn on the lighting and place it inside the filter element. Observe from the outside for any damage, small holes, or thinning, and also check for any damage to the rubber gasket. If there are any abnormalities, replace the filter element and gasket.
5. Clean the inside of the filter: Use high-pressure water gun or hair dryer to clean, or wipe the engine compartment components with a wet towel.
