As we all know, the compressed air filter after-treatment equipment is a system device used to remove oil, dust and moisture from compressed air. Among them, the removal of water accounts for a large part, which needs to be done by a dryer, and the most harmful. Impurity oil and dust are removed by high-efficiency precision filters.

The most important part of the compressed air high-efficiency precision filter is the filter element. The material selected for the filter element has the characteristics of inhibiting the reproduction of bacteria, which can prevent the filter element from becoming a system pollution source during use.
Working principle of compressed air high efficiency precision filter:

The filter element adopts straight-through and open design, so that the filtered impurities can pass through the liquid storage chamber without passing through the filter element and discharged through the automatic drain valve. The middle filter element is made of high-quality polymer filter material, which has certain adsorption capacity for oil mist and other impurities, fully guaranteeing The filtering effect; part of the compressed air purifies the inner wall of the filter element from top to bottom, so that the filtered impurities are effectively eliminated, and the resistance of the filter element to the compressed air is reduced.

The solid, liquid particles (drops) in the compressed air are condensed on the surface of the filter element (inside and outside) after being intercepted by the filter material. The droplets and impurities accumulated on the surface of the filter element are precipitated by gravity to the bottom of the filter. Automatic drainer or manual discharge to get pure compressed air.

High-efficiency precision filters are generally composed of a casing and a filter element. When the filter needs maintenance, only the filter element needs to be replaced.

Compressed air high-efficiency precision filter is a very important decontamination equipment in the air compressor post-processing equipment. If there is a problem in the equipment, oil pollution in the compressed air will not only affect the production equipment, but also the latter dryer will be polluted, resulting in huge Equipment cost loss.
According to the different filtration rate, it is divided into the following categories:

Filtration accuracy (the maximum particle diameter that can be effectively intercepted) can be divided into:

1. Primary/rough filter: filtration accuracy is less than or equal to 25μm;

2. Fine filter: the filtration precision is less than or equal to 1 μm; the residual oil content is 1.0 ppm;

3. High-precision filter: the filtration precision is less than or equal to 0.1μm, and the residual oil content is 0.1ppm;

4. Super filter: The filtration precision is less than or equal to 0.01μm, and the residual oil content is ≤0.03ppm in series with the activated carbon filter.
